Netflix’s “Women Like Us” Casting Extras in Sagaponack, NY

Netflix feature film “Women Like Us” is currently filming in the Hamptons area of New York, and casting directors are seeking non-union Long Island locals for paid background work.

The upcoming comedy brings together an ensemble cast that includes Whoopi Goldberg, Jenifer Lewis, Vanessa Williams, and Vivica A. Fox, with Tasha Smith directing.

About “Women Like Us”

Women Like Us follows a recently widowed woman whose sister and longtime friends take her to the Hamptons on what would have been her 30th wedding anniversary. Their weekend getaway becomes an opportunity to reconnect, process grief, strengthen old friendships, and consider what the next chapter of life may hold.

The screenplay was written by Ali Kinney, with additional writing by Tracy Oliver. The film is being produced by MACRO Film Studios and Higher Ground.

Production has been filming around Shelter Island and other locations in the Hamptons area.
