A new casting opportunity is now open for real moms and mother figures in the New York Tri-State area, with the project aiming to celebrate authentic family connections and everyday stories.
Casting company GENUINE is currently searching for a diverse range of mother figures and the children they have helped raise for an upcoming social media campaign. This project is focused on capturing genuine, meaningful relationships and highlighting the many ways families are formed.
Talent Application
The casting is open to:
- 👩 Biological mothers
- 💕 Stepmothers
- 🏡 Foster mothers
- 🌸 Aunts
- 🤝 Mentors
- 🧒 Children between the ages of 10 and 25
The team is especially interested in families from all backgrounds, ethnicities, and abilities, with a strong emphasis on inclusivity. Families who communicate through sign language, as well as those who are bilingual or multilingual, are strongly encouraged to apply.
Project Details
Selected participants will receive:
- 🎬 $500 for the filming day
- 💵 $500 for usage
- 📱 Feature in a social media campaign
Filming will take place in the Tri-State area, including:
- 📍 New York
- 📍 New Jersey
- 📍 Connecticut
- 📍 Pennsylvania
To be eligible, both the mother figure and child must be based in the Tri-State area and available to appear together in person.
This campaign is designed to showcase the real-life bonds between mothers and children, honoring the many different family structures that shape people’s lives and the emotional connections that define them.
Casting Requirements
GENUINE is looking for:
- 👩👧 Mothers or mother figures
- 🎈 Children ages 10–25
- 🌍 All ethnicities, backgrounds, and abilities
- 🫶 Families who use sign language
- 🌐 Bilingual or multilingual families
If selected, participants will be compensated with $500 for filming and $500 for usage.
