A paid web series project in New York City is casting two charismatic actors to portray Jessie and James from Team Rocket, inspired by the Pokémon animated series.
Treasure Trove is producing a filmed Pokémon Treasure Hunt game show for YouTube and is looking for performers who can bring humor, energy, and strong character work to the roles.
This casting call is open to NYC-based actors only. Performers must be able to travel to the shoot on their own, as transportation, airfare, lodging, and travel reimbursement will not be provided.

🎭 Jessie
Bold, dramatic, confident, and unapologetically over-the-top. The production is looking for a performer who can fully embrace the theatrical personality of the character and bring strong comedic energy to the role.
🎭 James
Charming, playful, theatrical, and expressive, with excellent comedic timing. The ideal performer should be comfortable leaning into character comedy and interacting naturally with others on camera.
The casting team is especially interested in actors with:
- Strong improvisation skills
- Character performance experience
- Good comedic timing
- High-energy screen presence
- Strong chemistry as a duo
- Familiarity with Pokémon, although this is not required
Actors may submit individually or as an established acting pair.

💵 Pay: $250 per actor
⏰ Time Commitment: Approximately half a day
Exact call times and working hours will be confirmed closer to the shoot.
Because this project is hiring local talent only, applicants should already be based in or near New York City and must be able to get themselves to the filming location.
