Open Auditions Announced for the Robeson County Christmas Show

Holiday performers in North Carolina have a chance to step into the spotlight this season as auditions open for the 15th annual Robeson County Christmas Show.

Presented at the historic Carolina Civic Center & Historic Theater in downtown Lumberton, this beloved holiday production has become one of Robeson County’s most anticipated seasonal traditions. For more than a decade, the show has brought festive entertainment, music, dance, and Christmas spirit to audiences across the region.

This year, the theater is looking for talented performers to join the cast, including young singers and dancers, featured female dancers, and one featured male dancer.

About the Robeson County Christmas Show

The Robeson County Christmas Show is a festive annual production that celebrates the joy of the holiday season through music, dance, and live performance.

Now entering its 15th year, the production continues to bring together local talent and community spirit on the stage of the Carolina Civic Center & Historic Theater.

Roles Being Cast

The theater is currently seeking performers for the following roles:

🎄 Kids Ensemble — young singers and dancers
💃 The Civettes — featured female dance ensemble
🕺 Featured Male Dancer — one male dancer for multiple production numbers

Performers should be enthusiastic, stage-ready, and excited to be part of one of Robeson County’s most cherished holiday traditions.

Kids Ensemble Auditions

Auditions for the Kids Ensemble will be held for young performers who love to sing, dance, and entertain.

Date: Friday, August 14
Time: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Kids auditioning should prepare a Christmas song or another song selection that best highlights their voice.

All Kids Ensemble auditionees should be ready to sing, even if they are mainly interested in dancing. Dance auditions for the Kids Ensemble will take place during callbacks by invitation only.

The Civettes and Featured Male Dancer Auditions

The production is also casting The Civettes, the show’s featured female dance ensemble, along with one featured male dancer.

Dancers should be prepared to demonstrate strong technique, stage presence, energy, and performance quality. Selected dancers may appear in multiple production numbers throughout the show.
