Paid Background Work Available for “Thirsty Girl” Feature Film

A new paid background casting opportunity is now available in the Nashville area for the feature film “Thirsty Girl.”

About the Film

“Thirsty Girl” is written and directed by Alexandra Qin and is based on her 2023 Sundance-selected short film of the same name.

The story follows a woman who drives her sister to rehab while privately dealing with an addiction of her own. The feature-length version is now in production, and background casting is seeking Nashville-area locals interested in working on set.

Applicants must be available both days. Talent should also be prepared to commit to being on set for 12+ hours, even though production may not need everyone for the full time.

Call times will not be available until the afternoon before filming, so applicants must have full availability regardless of the final call time.

Work Eligibility Notice

I-9 verification will be completed on set in accordance with federal law. Applicants must complete Section 1 of Form I-9 and provide acceptable original I-9 documents in order to work.

The production is unable to sponsor work visas. Individuals with employer-specific nonimmigrant work visas, such as O-1, P-1, or H-1B visas sponsored by another employer or agent, cannot be considered.
