The feature film Thirsty Girl is now filming in and around Nashville, Tennessee, and the production is seeking local talent for paid background and featured background roles.
The movie is expected to film from mid-May through mid-June 2026, with casting currently focused on Nashville-area locals. These are non-union roles, and no travel or housing will be provided, so applicants must be able to work as local hires.

Thirsty Girl is written and directed by Alexandra Qin and is based on her 2023 Sundance-selected short film of the same name.
The story follows a woman who drives her sister to rehab while quietly battling an addiction of her own. The feature film adaptation is now in production, giving Nashville-area locals a chance to work on set as paid background talent.

This is a $12.50 per hour rate with an 8-hour guarantee.
Production may not need talent for the full 8 hours, but applicants must be able to commit to the full booking if selected. Call times will not be available until the afternoon before filming, so applicants must be available regardless of call time.

Talent must be able to commit to being on set for 12+ hours, even though production may not need everyone for the full time. Call times will be provided the afternoon before filming, so applicants must be available regardless of the assigned call time.

Work Eligibility Notes
I-9 verification will be completed on set in accordance with federal law. Anyone selected must complete Section 1 of Form I-9 and provide acceptable original I-9 documents.
Applicants who cannot provide the required documents will not be permitted to work.
The production is unable to sponsor work visas. Individuals holding employer-specific nonimmigrant work visas sponsored by another employer or agent cannot be considered.
