Aspiring plus-size models in the Seattle area have a new opportunity to step in front of the camera. Torrid is bringing its annual Model Search to Lynnwood, Washington, giving hopeful models the chance to meet industry professionals, receive modeling advice, and potentially become one of the fashion brand’s newest faces.
Known for its plus-size fashion collections, Torrid has hosted its annual model search in cities across the United States for several years. The upcoming Seattle-area open casting call will take place at the Torrid store inside Alderwood Mall in Lynnwood.

The open model search is available to applicants ages 18 and older.
Model and casting director Candice Huffine is scheduled to attend the event, where she will meet aspiring models, share advice about the industry, and discuss the importance of showing personality during the casting process.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to receive complimentary headshots from photographers. These photos can then be used when submitting an online application for the model search.
No matter where applicants are in their modeling journey, the event offers an opportunity to experience an open casting environment while connecting with the Torrid team.
