About the Opportunity
Selected performers will live and work aboard luxury cruise ships, performing for international audiences while traveling to exciting destinations. Virgin Voyages is seeking vocalists who can do more than sing. Ideal performers should have personality, comedic timing, light movement ability, improvisation skills, and the confidence to engage directly with guests.
Roles Being Cast
🎤 The Hostess
Female-identifying performer. A glamorous cabaret-style songstress, storyteller, and event host. Must be able to sing comfortably from E3–F5 with belt/mix and extension up to B5 in head voice.
🎭 The Diva
Professional drag queen performer. A fierce vocalist, comedic host, and high-energy entertainer who can lead cabaret shows, bingo, and onboard parties. Must sing comfortably between B2–A4 with falsetto up to C5.
✨ The Unicorn
Female-identifying or non-binary performer. A unique vocal force with big 90s-inspired sound, humor, and bold personality. Performs in UNTITLED DANCESHOWPARTYTHING.
🎸 The MC
Male-identifying or non-binary performer. A glam rock singer with influences such as David Bowie, Rufus Wainwright, and Justin Vivian Bond. Strong acting skills and comfort with gender-fluid performance are important. Performs in Ships in the Night.
👑 Demeter
Female-identifying performer. A rock and soul singer with a queenly presence. Must perform comfortably from E3–A5. Performs in Persephone.
📚 Lola
Female-identifying performer. A charismatic powerhouse vocalist with a contemporary high belt, strong storytelling ability, and strong movement skills. Performs in Lola’s Library.
🌹 Chanteuse
Female-identifying or non-binary performer. Mezzo-soprano or soprano with a belt to D5. A magnetic narrator and hostess who is comfortable with immersive performance. Performs in Another Rose.
🖤 Sydra
Female-identifying performer, ages 30–50. Alto with strong pop sensibility and the ability to mix or belt to C#5. Should be able to perform across rock, soul, R&B, pop, classical, acoustic soul, and punk styles.
🎶 Tomas
Male-identifying or non-binary performer. Tenor with strong harmony ability. Wild energy and clowning experience are a plus. Performs in Another Rose.
🎵 Jeanna
Female-identifying or non-binary performer. Mezzo-soprano or soprano with comedic timing, fun energy, and strong harmony skills. Performs in Another Rose.
🎼 Molly
Female-identifying or non-binary performer. Mezzo-soprano or alto with strong harmony ability. Will play multiple roles, including the Priest. Performs in Another Rose.
