Calling all character actors! The hilarious indie web series Watching the Detectives is back with its third installment—and auditions are now open in St. Louis, Missouri. This non-union comedy is packed with quirky roles, zany energy, and a cast of private detectives who always one-up the cops.
Whether you’re a martial arts maven, a slick underworld bartender, or a tech-savvy hacker, there’s a place for you in this wild ride of a production.

- 💵 Full Day: $100/day + gas card, meals & snacks
- 💵 Half Day or Less: $50/day + gas card, snacks

- 👩🦱 Lisa Morris – Black female, 22–35. Cunning, unpredictable, a criminal playing both sides.
- 💻 Holly the Hacker – White female, 22–30. Genius-level intelligence, socially withdrawn, deep into the dark web.
- 👮 Detective – Any gender/race, 25–55. A wild card cop determined to stop the private investigators.
- 🥋 Charmane – Black female, 20–35. Cool, deadly, the boss of the kung fu girls.
- 🥷 Kung Fu Girl 1 – Female, 20–35. Violent and chaotic—grace is optional, knives are not.
- 🐺 Kung Fu Girl 2 – Female, 20–35. A cautious lone wolf who’ll fight for money.
- 🍸 Bartender – Any gender, 20–35. Streetwise, all-knowing gatekeeper of the criminal underworld.
- 🍽️ Server – Any gender, 20–35. Quick, adaptable, charming—masters the art of tip manipulation.
- 🧑✈️ Police Chief – Any age/race. Determined, new to the force, dead set on cleaning up the PI interference.
- 🤡 Criminal / Arch Nemesis – Any age/race. Over-the-top villain with grand (but often failing) ambitions.
