NBC’s hit police drama Chicago P.D. is currently filming in the Chicagoland area and is seeking local background actors for Episode 14006. The production is accepting general submissions for a variety of extras roles, along with a specialty casting call for young adults who can skateboard.
This casting opportunity is open to performers who live within approximately two hours of Chicago, Illinois. Travel expenses and lodging are not provided, so applicants must be able to work as local hires.

🎬 General Background Casting
The production is looking for background actors of any gender and ethnicity, ages 9 and older.
Applicants should have open availability, as filming days can typically run between 8 and 12 hours. Call times are usually early in the morning, and production takes place Monday through Friday.
General Background Pay
- 💰 Adults and teens ages 16+: $136.40/8 hours
- 💰 Minors ages 9–15: $160/8 hours
- 🚗 Vehicle bump: Additional $35 if your car is booked to appear on set
- ⏰ Overtime applies after eight hours
The $136.40 rate is a flat payment covering up to eight hours rather than an hourly rate.
Applicants should list all available dates between September 17 and September 28. Do not submit for a date if you have scheduling restrictions that could prevent you from remaining on set for the entire filming day.

Children between the ages of 9 and 15 must be submitted by a parent or guardian through email.

Teens ages 16 and older may use the regular availability form.
🛹 Specialty Role: Young Skateboarders
Chicago P.D. is also seeking young adults who are comfortable skateboarding for a neighborhood scene.
Casting is especially interested in performers who are 18 or older but can convincingly portray teenagers.
