A new feature film titled “Keychain” is currently filming in the New York City area, and local baseball players may have a chance to appear on screen.
Grant Wilfley Casting is seeking people with real baseball experience to work as paid background performers for the movie. Selected talent will portray baseball players in scenes expected to film in Queens, New York.

The production is looking for New York-area locals who can convincingly play baseball on camera.

- 🎭 Role: Baseball players / paid background extras
- 📍 Location: Queens, New York
- 🗓️ Tentative shoot dates: Wednesday, August 19, 2026 and/or Friday, August 21, 2026
- 🌙 Schedule note: Possible evening into nighttime filming
- 💰 Rate: SAG-AFTRA rate of $241 for 8 hours
“Keychain” has been filming across the New York area and has reportedly used locations connected to Major League Baseball, including Citi Field in Queens.
Who Should Submit?
Casting is specifically looking for people who have baseball playing experience and can look natural as players on camera.
Applicants should be:
- ⚾ Experienced baseball players
- 📍 Local to the New York City area
- ✅ Available for one or both tentative filming dates
- 🔞 Age 18 or older
- 🎥 Comfortable appearing on camera in an MLB team uniform

- No filters, odd angles, sunglasses, hats, or professional headshots
