Los Angeles Actors Wanted for Daytime Court Shows

Actors in the Los Angeles area have a new opportunity to gain on-camera experience through an ongoing paid casting for daytime court television shows.

Standing Room Only TV is currently seeking non-union actors to portray plaintiffs, defendants, witnesses, and other litigants on syndicated court TV programs filming in Culver City, California. The productions recreate stories inspired by actual legal cases, giving performers the chance to work in a courtroom-style television setting.

The casting is open to a wide range of adult performers, and improvisational ability is considered a plus.

Who Can Apply?

Casting directors are seeking Southern California performers with a variety of appearances and backgrounds. Adult actors of different races, genders, ages, and looks are encouraged to submit.

Available roles may include:

  • ⚖️ Plaintiffs involved in courtroom disputes
  • 🎭 Defendants responding to legal claims
  • 👤 Witnesses appearing during court proceedings

The stories featured on these programs are based on real legal situations, but actors are hired to portray the individuals involved.

Because courtroom television often involves conversational exchanges and spontaneous reactions, performers who are comfortable with improvisation may have an advantage.

Los Angeles Locals Only

Applicants must be able to work as local hires in Southern California.

The production does not provide transportation, airfare, lodging, or other travel accommodations. Actors applying should therefore live in or near the Los Angeles area and be able to travel to Culver City on filming days.

Availability on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays is especially important, as those are the regular production days.
