Norwegian Cruise Line Auditions for Gymnasts and Aerialists in Las Vegas

NCLH Shows & Experiences is holding auditions in Las Vegas for talented gymnasts, acrobats, and aerialists for upcoming entertainment productions aboard Norwegian Cruise Line’s Norwegian Aura.

This theater casting opportunity is ideal for athletic performers with strong aerial technique, stage presence, physical control, and the ability to bring storytelling into movement. Selected performers will join a professional cruise ship production at sea, with rehearsals beginning in late 2026 and an onboard contract expected in 2027.

Audition Details

🛳️ Contract Length: Approximately 6–7 months onboard

Performers cast for the show must be available to travel to Tampa, Florida for rehearsals before joining the ship in 2027.

Contract and Schedule

The current production schedule includes:

📅 Rehearsals Begin: On or about November 9, 2026
🎄 Holiday Break: December 20, 2026 – January 10, 2027
📅 Rehearsals Resume: January 11, 2027
🚢 Board Norwegian Aura: On or about February 22, 2027
Contract End: TBD, approximately 6–7 months onboard

All dates are subject to change.

Pay and Travel Details

Aerialists will receive:

💵 $1,350 per week
💵 Approximately $5,850 per month onboard

Travel will be provided to Tampa for rehearsals, to the ship, and back home at the end of the contract.

Cast members will also receive single-occupancy cabins onboard, including dancers. Performers will be considered crew members, but they will not have cruise staff duties outside of the performance schedule.

Aerialists

NCLH is seeking male and female-identifying aerialists of any ethnicity.

The team is looking for athletic, dynamic, and versatile performers with strong physical ability and professional-level aerial skills.

Ideal skills may include:

✨ Hand balancing
✨ Acro

Performers should have excellent upper body strength, a strong physical presence, and the ability to connect with an audience. This role requires more than technical skill—the production is also looking for artists who can embody a character, tell a story, and bring emotion to the performance.

Dance training, clean body lines, and an understanding of movement positions are considered a major plus.
