Online Auditions Open for The Prince of Egypt Concert at Lincoln Center

A new concert production of The Prince of Egypt is coming to Lincoln Center in New York City, and online submissions are now open for performers interested in being considered for the show.

This upcoming production will be presented in concert with Manhattan Concert Productions at David Geffen Hall, Lincoln Center. Performers can currently submit audition materials online through recorded video auditions.

About The Prince of Egypt

The Prince of Egypt is based on the beloved 1998 DreamWorks animated film that tells the powerful story of Moses. The musical features music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, the award-winning composer known for major stage works such as Wicked, Godspell, and Pippin.

The story follows Moses as he discovers his Hebrew heritage after being raised as part of the Egyptian royal family. As he begins to understand his identity, he is forced to confront his past, his future, and his complicated relationship with Ramses.

The stage adaptation expands the emotional depth of the film, bringing new music and a more theatrical look at family, faith, freedom, and destiny.
