Thirsty Girl Movie Casting Paid Background Actors in Nashville

The feature film Thirsty Girl is currently filming in and around Nashville, Tennessee, and the production is seeking local paid background actors for upcoming scenes.

Written and directed by Alexandra Qin, Thirsty Girl expands on Qin’s 2023 Sundance-selected short film of the same name. The story follows a woman who drives her sister to rehab while quietly battling an addiction of her own.

The feature adaptation is expected to film from mid-May through mid-June 2026, with background casting now looking for Nashville-area locals who are available to work on set.

Applicants must have full availability for the day. Exact call times will not be available until the afternoon before filming.

Talent must be able to commit to being on set for 12+ hours, even though production may not need everyone for the full duration.

💰 Pay Rate

Selected background actors will be paid:

📌 $100 for up to 8 hours
📌 8-hour guarantee
📌 Time and a half after 8 hours
📌 Equivalent base rate: $12.50 per hour
