Chicago Fire New Season Seeking Local Male Extras

NBC’s hit drama Chicago Fire is now in production for its new 2027 season, and casting directors are seeking local talent in the Chicago area to work as paid background actors.

Produced by Emmy Award-winning executive producer Dick Wolf, the creator behind the popular Law & Order franchise, Chicago Fire follows the firefighters, paramedics, and rescue workers of the fictional Firehouse 51. The series is known for its intense emergency scenes, emotional storylines, and action-packed look at the lives of first responders.

The show also helped launch the successful One Chicago universe, including Chicago P.D. and Chicago Med.

Casting directors are currently looking for male talent, ages 20 to 30, to portray a drunk character in a featured non-speaking extra role.

The production notes that filming may run about 12 hours, and lunch will be provided.
